Abstract :Türk`ün milli kültürünün en önemli değerlerinden olan türküler, yöresel çeşitlilik ile de ayrı bir zenginliği temsil ederler. Toplumsal konulardaki yergi ve hicivlerin ezgi ve şiire dökülmüş şekli olan ve irticalen söylenen türe Karadeniz yöresinde atma türkü denir. Bu makale de atma türkü geleneğine dair kısa bir inceleme sunulmaktadır.
