Abstract :This study was conducted to investigate the vegetation of the Gazihan Dede Recreation Area within the Adıyaman Province center, located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Türkiye. A total of three plant associations were identified in the study area: two degraded forests and one steppe vegetation type. These associations and their superordinate units are as follows: Class: Astragalo–BrometeaQuèzel1973 Ordo: Onobrychido armanae–Thymetalia leucostomi Akman, Ketenoğlu ve Quèzel1984 Association 1:Hedysaro syriacii-Amygdaletum arabicae ass. Nova Association 2: Onosmo isauricii –Amygdaletum orientalidis ass.
