Vegetatıon of Gazihan Dede Recreatıon Area (Adıyaman)

This study was conducted to investigate the vegetation of the Gazihan Dede Recreation Area within the Adıyaman Province center, located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Türkiye. A total of three plant associations were identified in the study area: two degraded forests and one steppe vegetation type. These associations and their superordinate units are as follows: Class: Astragalo–BrometeaQuèzel1973 Ordo: Onobrychido armanae–Thymetalia leucostomi Akman, Ketenoğlu ve Quèzel1984 Association 1:Hedysaro syriacii-Amygdaletum arabicae ass. Nova Association 2: Onosmo isauricii –Amygdaletum orientalidis ass. Nova Association 3:Astragalo brachypteri-Thymbretum spicatae ass. nova
