Abstract :Tataristan Türkleri yaşadıkları yerde çok uzun bir yerleşik hayat geleneğine ve yazılı kültüre sahiptirler. Türk dünyasının zengin mitolojik unsurları bu ortamda daha fazla yaşama şansı bulmuş, zamanla değişik kültürel etkilerle zenginleşerek oldukça bol malzemeye kavuşmuştur. Bu makale, Tatar efsanelerindeki kişilikleri özetlemektedir.
