Abstract :Özet: Günümüzde hem gelişmiş hem de gelişmekte olan toplumlarda yaşlı popülasyonda artış görülmektedir. Yaşlanma ile beraber görülen deri değişikleri fizyolojik bir süreç olarak kabul edilmektedir. Ancak bu yaş grubunda görülen deri değişiklikleri ve dermatolojik hastalıklar sistemik hastalıklar kadar yaşam kalitesini etkilemektedir. Bu derlemede yaşlanmanın fizyolojik süreci ve sık görülen dermatolojik hastalıklar tartışılacaktır. ANAHTAR KELİMELER: Deri, yaşlanma, patogenez, dermatoz AGING AND SKIN Abstract: Nowadays, there is an increase in geriatric population in both developed and developing countries. The skin changes with aging is considered as a physiological process. However, skin changes and dermatologic disorder in this age affect the quality of life as systemic diseases. In this review, the physiological process of aging and common disorder are discussed. KEYWORDS: Skin, aging, pathogenesis, dermatoses
