Abstract :The European System of Central Banks insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(The ESCB); Will be estasbished in 1998 All European Union Central banks will be part of the ESCB The Statute of the European System of Central Banks provides two key elements by stipulating the objective -the priority of price stability and independence. Nevertheless, it is not cear that how will the ESCB achieve its final objective of price stability. Therefore, in most EU countries plans for price stabiüty are greeted with skepticism or disapproval by a large section of the general public There are good reasons for this reaction. This paper examines this problem.
