Abstract :In this article the New Keynesian and the New Classical schools in acplaining the Business Çycles are compared and contrasted. In this analysis, a special empliasis is given on questioning the explanatory power of these theories on the case Less Developed Coımtries. The validity and the importance of the economics assumptions are also discussed.
