Abstract :In this study a survey is conducted among nationality operating domestic and foreign retail chains in Turkey, to discover the status of data warehousing in retail industry. 30 companies among 33 who match these criteria replied the questionnaire. Survey results showed that there is a strong interest in data warehousing among Turkish retailers. 9 out of 30 respondents insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(30%); said that they have a data warehouse already installed. 16 respondents said that they have a plan or intention to undertake a data warehousing project in the near future.
