Abstract :Many territories had been occupied Umayyadperiod in the history of Islam. In this period the most of the conquered lands still belong to Muslims. In this study the writer mentions about the conquests and the settlement of Arabs and non-Arabs to make the conquests to be permanent. In order to understand of the Arab settlement in this period the writer described seperately every district of the occupied territories.
