Abstract :The Northwest of ttıe Kiiçükçekmece Lake insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(İstanbul); has some advantages for human settlements. This paper aims to determine the appropriate locations for settlements in the study area in terms of geomorphology. The erosional surface and the valleys are the two majör geomorphological units in the study area. After having studied, fîve different land categories were determined for human settlements in the NW of Küçükçekmece Lake.
