Abstract :Carpet weaving was kept i Is importance amongst Ihe traditional Turkish handicrafts throııghout history. Ils development continııes froın Ihıt 13. century ııp to the 20. century. The rich composition of patterns consisl of two maili styles; geometric and flower and foliage. Stylization is evident in ali the motifs and patterns. Carpet designs fıve massages from the weaver’s inner yvorld. With its colors, motifs and patterns. it refiects a second language.
