Abstract :In many Industries, the largest fırms are most successful in continuing their high profıtability’s and competing an individual market. By using the works by Cournot insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1838);, Cowling and W atarsan insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1976);, Clarke&Davies insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1982); this study supports that, under duopoly circumstances, there is a positive relationship betyveen the profıtability and the structure in real industries. For this purpose, w e specifıcally analyze the Turkish bretving duopoly.
