Abstract :Asites, broylerlerde peritoneal boşluklarda aşırı sıvı toplanması ile karakterize noninfeksiyoz bir hastalıktır. Metabolik bir sendrom olan asitesin nedenleri çok çeşitli olup, özellikle yüksek rakım, yetersiz havalandırma ve beslenme gibi faktörler etkilidir. Yetiştiricilikte özellikle asitesten korunmaya yönelik tedbirlerin alınması önemlidir. Bu derlemede, asitesin etiyolojisi, beslenme ile ilişkisi, akciğerlere etkisi, klinik ve nekropsi bulguları, ile asitesten korunmaya yönelik bilgiler verildi
