Abstract :Academicians have responsibilities primarily related to teaching, but in order to progress in their academic careers, they must conduct research, participate in scientific conferences, contribute to scientific knowledge through publications, and also fulfill administrative duties. Therefore, emotional labor is an inseparable part of academic life. This review aimed to address the concepts of emotional labour, job satisfaction, and burnout among academicians.
