Abstract :For the development of patient safety culture, which has a very important place in the success of health institutions, patient-focussed, safe, effective, technological equipment brought by the modern age and equal distribution of information bring along a number of norms. Today, patient safety is recognized as a priority issue in the field of health services worldwide. The aim of this study is to emphasize the importance of patient safety in the establishment of patient safety culture and practices in health service delivery in Türkiye and in the world, to examine the quality improvement strategies in this regard in detail and to emphasize the importance of patient safety in health institutions.
