Abstract :Primer malign mezotelyoma peritonu döşeyen hücrelerle mezenkimal elemenlardan kaynaklanan nadir bir tümördür. Olguların % 70`inde asbest maruziyeti vardır. Mezotelyoma için risk faktörleri asbest fiberinin tipi, maruziyet süresi ve yoğunluğuna göre değişmektedir. Ultrason ve tomografide asit ile birlikte omentum, mezenter ve peritonu içeren plaklar şeklinde kitleler görülür. Omentum kalınlaşması malign peritoneal mezotelyoma olgularında ultrasonografi ve abdominal BT`de görülen bir bulgudur. Malign mezotelyomaların yaklaşık %25`i peritoneal yerleşim gösterir, çoğunluğu daha sık görülen plevral mezotelyomalarla birliktedir. Bu makalede malign peritoneal mezotelyoma tanısı alan iki olguyu nadir görülmesi nedeniyle sunmaktayız.
