Abstract :Ebû Mansûr al-Maturîdî is a very prominent place in Orthadox Islam. He respondedto the people who raised many objections to the ortohodox Islamic creed. Especiallyhe dealt with the questions ot the Muteziletes. Although he is a wel-known theologian,he is also distinguished scholor in Qur`anic exegesis. Ta`wîlat al-Qu`ran is his fomouswork on the Qur`an. He used both the reports and reason in his exegesis and becomean important example for later commentators. In this article we concentrate on hismethodology in the intergretadion of the Qur`an.
