Abstract :Mural painting represents a significant art form that has evolved in alignment with the distinctive aesthetic values of each historical period. Although substantial academic research exists in this domain, studies specifically addressing the mural paintings of the Republican era remain notably scarce. Furthermore, the available literature predominantly centers on male artists. This article seeks to examine the contributions of female artists to mural painting in Turkey. The identified artists will be analyzed chronologically, and their works will be critically evaluated. Additionally, the impact of the political and social dynamics of the period on mural production will be explored through detailed case studies.
