Bu tedavinin avantajları, özellikle ilk antibiyotik dozundan önce verilirse, dezavantajlarından daha fazladır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Bakteriyel menenjit, deksametazon tedavisi Abstract Dexamethasone Therapy for Children with Bacterial Meningitis Dexamethasone therapy in children vvith bacterial meningitis is recorded to reduce hearing loss and other neurologic seguelae by preventing meningeal inflammation. The advantages of dexamethasone treatment, especially when given before the first parenterally administered antibiotic döşe, clearly outweigh thepossible diş advantages.
