Yapılan farmakolojik çalışmalar hipertansiyon patofizyolojisinde renin anjiyotensin sisteminin, dolayısıyla anjiyotensin H`nin rolünü onaya koymuş¬tur, Anjiyotensin II reseptör antagonistleri non-peptid yapıda imidazol der iv eleridir. Losartan anjiyotensin II ATI re¬septörünün kompetitifantagonistidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı losartaııın esansiyel hipertansiyonla olgularda antihiper-tansif etkinliğini ve kan biyokimyasına etkilerini incelemektir. Çalışma daha önce antihipertansif tedavi almamış 22 olguda insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ortalama yaş 46J±10.6,12` si kadın 10`u erkek); yapıldı. Tedavi sonrası sistolik ve diyastolik kan basınçları anlamlı ölçüde düştü insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0.0001); ayrıca hiçbir olguda tedaviye bağlı yan etki ve kan biyokimyasında anlamlı bir de¬ğişiklik gözlenmedi. ABSTRACT EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM LOSARTAN THERAPY ON THE PATBENTS WITH ESSEN-TIAL HYPERTENSION The term `essential hypertension` was applied to high bloodpressure \vifhout any evident cause. Numerous stu-dies have been made to pharmacologically interfere with the renin angiotensin system and the effects ofthe angioten-sin II kno\v to be involved in the pathophysiology of hypertension. Angiotensin II receptor antagonists are non-pepti-de imidazole derivates. Losartan act solely by competitive antagonism of angiotensin II at the ATI receptor. The aim ofthis study is to show the losartan`s effects on essantial hypertension and blood chemistry. Twentytwo previously untreated hipertensive patients insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(mean age 46J±10.6 years, 12females and 10 males); were examined and blood samp-les were taken. The statistical analysis showed that sistolic, diastolic and mean blood pressure were significantly lo-wering by losartan therapy insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(daily 50mg);, moreover adverse effect not showed.
