Örmeci Bahattin Tunç özet Sağlık sorunları bölgelere göre değişiklikler göstermektedir. Sağlık hizmetinin verileceği çevrenin özelliklerini ve yöresel hastalıkları ayrıntılı biçimde bilmek gerekir. Bu amaçla İsparta Doğum ve Çocuk Bakımevi çocuk polikliniğine bir yıllık süre içinde başvuran hastalardan 7.000`i rastgele seçilerek tanılan, yaş grupları ve cinsiyetlerine göre gruplara ayrıldı. Bölgede en sık görülen hastalıkların sırasıyla üst solunum yollan enfeksiyonu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 42);, gastroenterit insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 14);, bronkopnömoni insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 7);, sinüzit insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 4); ve cilt hastalıkları insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 3); olduğu saptandı. İçme sularında iyot eksikaği olduğu bilinen bu bölgede guatr tanısının çok az konmuş olması, bu konuda özel çalışmaların yapılması gerekliliğini ortaya çıkardı. Anahtar Kelimeler: Çocuk hastalıkları, sıklık. Abstract Frequently Encountered Pediatric Illnesses in the İsparta Region Health problems varyfrom region to region. A detailed knowledge of the characterisûcs ofeach parücular region and of the regional diseases is a prerecjıdsite of an effecüve approach to the solution of the health problems of the children of a given community. Seven thousand patients were selected at randomfrom thepediatric outpaûents of İsparta Maternity Hospital över a one-year period. They were grouped according to diagnosis, age group and sex. The most common diseases in this region were found to be upper respiratory infections insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 42);, gastroenteriüs insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 14);, bronchopneumoma insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 7);, sinusitis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 4); and skin diseases insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 3);. Urinary tract infections, malmttria`on and goiter present a higher ratio in giriş than in boys. Eventhough iodine deficiency in drinking-water is a \vell-knownfact of this region, diagnosis of goiter was made infreauently. This situation validates special studies should be carried out on goiter in the İsparta region. Key Words: Childhood diseases, prevalance.
