Abstract :SüleymanDemirel Üniversitesi TIP FAKÜLTESİ DERGİSİ: 1998 Haziran; 5insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2); Osteopoikilozis Meltem Çetin Tayfun Turgut Ercan Çelik ÖZET Osteopoikilozis röntgenogramlarda karakteristik olarak, asemptomatik genç erişkinlerde karpal ve tarsal kemik¬lerde metafizyal ve epifizyal yerleşimli multiple küçük ovoid ve yuvarlak dansiteler şeklinde görülür. Bununla birlik¬te osteoblastik lezyon geniş ve diffüz olursa, özellikle yaşlı hastalarda osteoblastik metastatik lezyonlardan ayırımı güç olacaktır, Anahtar Kelimeler: Osteopoikilozis, radyolojik tanı. ABSTRACT OSTEOPOKILOSIS Osteopoikilosis should not be difficult to diagnose when the roentgenograms demonstrate the charcteristic mul¬tiple small round ör ovoid circumscribed spotty densities involving the carpus and the tarsus as well as the metaphy-seal and epiphyseal areas oflong bones in an asymtomatic young adult. However, when the osteoblastic lesions are larger with diffuse involvement, it \vill not be easy to distinguish from osteoblastic metastatic bone diseas, particu-larly in older patients. Key Words: Osteopoikilosis, radiologic diagnosis.
