Abstract :SüleymanDemirel Üniversitesi TIP FAKÜLTESİ DERGİSİ: 1999 Mart; 6insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1); İsparta Yedişehitler Sağlık Ocağı Bölgesi`ndeki 0-24 Aylık Bebek ve Çocuklarda Anne Sütü Alma Durumu Mustafa Öztürk, Faruk Öktem, Mustafa Dinçtüık Özet Bu çalışmada İsparta il merkezindeki Yedişehitler Sağlık Ocağı Bölgesi`nde oturan 0-24 aylık 805 bebek ve çocuğun 1/4 örnekleme ile 200`ü hedef nüfus olarak belirlendi ve bunların 197`sine ulaşıldı insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 98.5);. Hazırlanan bir anket formu aracılığıyla bu çocukların anne sütü alma durumları belirlendi. Hiç anne sütü almamış olan sadece bir çocuğun insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 0.5); bulunduğu araştırma grubunda 0-3 aylık çocukların % 96.7`si ve 4-6 aylık çocukların % 72.4`û anne sütü almakta; aynı çocukların sırasıyla % 66.7 ve % 13.7`si ise sadece anne sütü -su dahil- almaktaydı. Araştırma grubundaki çocukların % 78.2`sine doğum sonrasında ilk gıda olarak anne sütü verilmişti. Anne sütünün ilk 4 ay yeterli olması ve verilme süresi ile; çocuğa ait cinsiyet ve ilk çocuk olma ve anneye ait yaş, eğitim düzeyi, çalışma ve sosyal güvenlik durumu arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamadı. Bu bulgulara göre bölgemizdeki bebek ve çocukların anne sütü alma durumunun ülkenin diğer bölgelerine benzer olduğu söylenebilir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Bebekinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ler);, çocukinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(lar);, beslenme, anne sütü Abstract Breast Feeding Status of the Infant and Children Between 0-24 Month Aged in İsparta Yedişehitler Health Center Region in the present study, 200 of 805 infant and children betvteen O to 24 months old living in Yedişehitler Health Center region in İsparta Province determined as target population by the `/t sampling methodand 197 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(98.5%); ofthem were reached During the study, the breastfeeding status of the study group vvere evaluated by a guestionnarie. There was only öne child insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(0.5 %); who never breastfed. 96.7 % of 0-3 months old and 72.4 % of 4-6 months old infants were breastfeeding. in the same groups, 66.7 % of former öne and 13.7 % oflatter -were fully breastfeeding. The percentage of the children who had taken the breast milk as thefirstfood was 71.4 %. There were no significant correlation between the sufficiency ofbreast milk and time length of breastfeeding in the first 4 months and the vartables related to child insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(sex, being the first child); andmother insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(age, education level, \vorking and social security);. Basedon these findings, it can be concluded that the breastfeeding situation of the infants and the children in our region is the same as the other region of the country.
