Hastanın kemik iliği aspirasyon incelemesinde amastigot formdaki leishmania protozoonlan gö¬rülerek kala-azar tanısı konuldu. Anahtar Kelimeler: Çocuk, leishmania, kala-azar Abstract Kala-Azar In a Child A two-years-old boy was admitted to our hospital with anemia, thrombocytopenia, abdominal distention and fever. The diagnosis of kala-azar was confirmed by demonstrating markedly increase of amastigote form of Leishmania donovani in the bone marrow aspiration sample. Key Words: Child, leishmania, kala-azar
