Ali Malas, Soner Albay, Esra Çetin, Bahadır Üngör Özet Çalışmamızda erişkin bir kadavrada anormal yerleşimli, sağda tek taraflı m. sternalis olgusunun gösterilmesi amaçlandı. Sternum sağında tek taraflı m. sternalis, vagina m. recti abdominis ve 6.-7. kıkırdak kostalardan başlıyor ve m. sternocleidomastoideus`un caput sternalis`inde sonlarayordu. Tek taraflı m. sternalis varyasyonu literatürleri gözden geçirildi ve kasın morfometrik ayrıntıları, radyolojik ve cerrahi önemi ile ilgili yönleriyle değerlendirildi. Anahtar kelimeler: Musculus sternalis, varyasyon, kadavra Abstract: A case of unilateral sternal muscle The aim of study is to demonstrate a case of a adult cadaver in which the unilateral sternal muscle have an abnormal located. On the right of sternum, the unilateral sternal muscle was originated from the vagina of rec-tus abdominis and 6th, 7th costal cartilages, and insertioned sternal head of sternocleidomastoid muscle. The literatüre on the variation of the unilateral sternal muscle is reviewed and detailed morphometry of the muscle was evaluated that its importance for radiological and surgical.
