Isparta ve Burdur`da çalışan serbest dişhekimlerinin klinik periodontal bilgileri üzerine bir anket çalışması

Yeşim Bozkurt Özet Bu çalışmanın amacı Isparta ve Burdur Dişhekimleri Odası` na kayıtlı olan serbest dişhekimlerinin klinik periodontal bilgi ve tedavi yaklaşımlarının incelenmesiydi. Çalışmaya 100 dişhekimi katıldı. Hazırlanan ankette dişhekimlerinin hastalara uyguladıkları oral hijyen motivasyon yöntemleri, diş fırçası ve diş macunu tercihleri, antiseptik gargara kullanım tercihleri, uyguladıkları periodontal tedaviler, uzmanlarla ortak çalışma talepleri ve hangi antibiyotikleri ne tür durumlarda uyguladıklarına dair 31 soru bulunmaktaydı. Anket sonuçları yüzde olarak değerlendirildi. Hekimlerin % 97` sinin hastalarına fırçalamayı öğrettikleri ve %79,4` ünün Modifiye Stillman tekniğini önerdikleri, % 93` ünün diş ipi, arayüz fırçası, kürdan gibi araçları hastalarına kullandırarak oral hijyenin devam ettirilmesini sağlamaya çalıştıkları saptandı.. Hekimlerin %26,05` inin klorheksidinli gargara kullanımını tavsiye ettikleri belirlendi. Çalışmamız sonuçlarında penisilin türevi antibiyotiklerin insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 17,24); ve penisilin ile kombinasyonların insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(penisilin-tetrasiklin % 24,13; penisilin-metronidazol % 10,34); periodontal tedavide çok tercih edildiği ve metronidazol insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 20,68); ve tetrasiklinin de insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 27,58); yaygın olarak kullanıldığı tespit edildi. Ancak kliniğe gelen tüm hastalara diştaşı temizliği ve polisaj işlemini yapmadığı halde ileri periodontal cerrahi işlemleri uygulayan bir hekim grubunun olması, dişhekimliğinde meslek içi eğitimin, bilgilerin hatırlanması ve güncelleştirilmesinde, büyük önemi olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Abstract A Questionnaire about clinical periodontal knowledge of private practitioners in Isparta and Burdur The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical periodontal knowledge and the periodontal treatment approaches of private practitioners who are members of Isparta and Burdur Chamber of Dentists. A hundred of dentists have been concluded in the study. In this questionnaire there are 31 questions about the oral hygiene motivation methods of dentists, the preference of toothpaste, toothbrushes, antiseptic mouthwashes, consultation with the specialists and conditions in which they prefer to use antibiotics. The answers have been evaluated as percents. 97% of the dentists have given instructions for tooth brushing and the Modified Stillman technique has been determined as the most preferred method insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(79,41%);. 93% of the dentists have given effords to maintain the oral health with the suggested of using dental floss, interdental brushes and tooth sticks. It had been determined that 26,05% of the dentists suggested the use of chlorhexidine mouthwashes. The results of our study have indicated that the penicillin derivatives insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(17,24%); and combinations with penicillin insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(24,13% with tetracycline; 10,34% with metronidazole); are most preferred regimens in periodontal therapy and the metronidazole insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(20,68%); and tetracycline groups insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(27,58%); are generally used, also. However, the presence of the dentist group who does not make scaling and polishing on every patient but makes the advanced periodontal surgery techniques is suggested that the continuous education in practice has an important role in renew and update the knowledge in dentistry.
