Abstract :Amaç: Situs inversus, nadir görülen, otozomal resesif geçiþ gösteren bir durumdur. Abstract Laparoscopic cholecystectomy in a symptomathic cholelithiasis patient with situs inversus: Case report Purpose: Situs inversus is a rare condition with an otosomal ressesive genetic predisposition. We want to present a patient with situs inversus totalis and acute cholecystitis who was safely treated via laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Method: As in a classical laparoscopic technique, two throcars 10 cm in diameter were inserted in their usual sites. Other two trocars 5 cm in diameter were placed in the mirror image of their classical sites on the left side of the abdomen. An hydropic and odematose gallbladder was removed. Result: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a safe and easy procedure in symptomathic cholelithiasis patients with situs inversus. Key words: situs inversus, acute cholecystitis, laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Keywords : Situs inversus, akut kolesistit, laparoskopik kolesistektomi
