Abstract :Until seventies concept of logistics was conceived as “realization of distribution of products” and in other words was handled as routine activities. Striking improvements realized in technology and changes in customer demand has formed the base of current understanding of logistics and contemporarily the concept of logistics has started to be considered together with “customer service”. Besides, logistics is perceived as a process management and directly associated with product flow. The most important point to have in mind when describing logistics is that the scope of logistics is not only transport but a “process” which is intending to meet all consumer expectations.
