Abstract :ÖZET Örgütsel demokrasi en genel haliyle politik demokrasinin örgütsel düzeyde uygulanmasıdır. Psikolojik sermaye ise örgütlerin rekabet avantajını elde etmesinde etkili olan, merkezinde pozitifliğin olduğu bir unsur olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır Bu çalışmanın amacı, otel çalışanlarının örgütsel demokrasi algısı ile psikolojik sermaye düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi analiz etmektir. Veriler “Örgütsel demokrasi ölçeği” ve “Psikolojik sermaye ölçeği” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda örgütsel demokrasi algısı ile psikolojik sermaye arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Korelasyon ve Regresyon analizleri ile örgütsel demokrasinin “eşitlik” boyutunun psikolojik sermayenin tüm boyutları ile doğrusal yönlü ilişkili olduğu ve psikolojik sermayenin tüm boyutlarını olumlu yönde yordadığı tespit edilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Örgütsel Demokrasi, Psikolojik Sermaye, Turizm Sektörü, Konaklama İşletmeleri The Relationship Between on Organızational Democracy With Psychological Capital: A Research on Hotel Businesses ABSTRACT Organizational democracy, in the broadest sense, is the implementation of political democracy in the organizational level. Psychological capital appears to be defined as an element that is an effective tool in the achievement of competitive advantage and that has positivity at its core. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between perceptions of hotel staff regarding organizational democracy and their psychological capital levels. The data were collected by using “organizational democracy scale” and “psychological capital scale”. The findings of the study revealed a meaningful relationship between organizational democracy perception and psychological capital. It was found out via correlation and regression analyses that the “equality” dimension of organizational democracy is in linear relationship with psychological capital and it is a positive predictor of all dimensions of psychological capital.
