Abstract :Considering the factors such as intensive working conditions, inadequate number of nurses versus increasing patient population and inefficiency resulting from time constraint that nurses suffer about nursing care plan, the need for an automated and computerized mobile application is considered to be highly important for student nurses. Using this information management tool, they will be loaded less with stationery and directly spend more time on patient care. Consequently, supervising instructor and student communication will become more interactive and immediate. In this world of information and communication technology, following above mentioned footsteps, the study briefly aims at computerizing a standardized nursing care plan for student nurses before they graduate to be full nurses. The tool as a contribution to the nursing informatics through information and communication technologies is expected to reduce traditional workload, keep safe records, help professional and individual development of student nurses.
