Abstract :Today, theories and evaluations put forward around literary studies have shown that a literary work cannot be easily included in a category as it was before. This situation has reached such a point that, considering the thematic aspect of a literary work, all previous findings about whether it is a text with social content or written with individual concern could easily be overturned by new findings and close readings made around those findings. Considering Sabahattin Ali\`s other works, Madonna with Fur Coat is one of the early categorized novels. This article is also a product of an attempt to go beyond these early evaluations to focus on the social aspect of the novel. While doing this study, not only the thematic aspect of a novel is focused on, but also the conceptual aspects of the words \`form\` and \`structure\`.
