Abstract :Bu çalışma ile Milli Mücadele Dönemi’nde Fethiye’de yaşanan olaylar orijinal arşiv belgelerine de dayanılarak ortaya konulmuştur.Bu makalede, Milli Mücadele döneminde Fethiye’nin 11 Mayıs 1919 tarihinde İtalyanlar tarafından işgal edilmesine rağmen sık sık Yunan tacizlerine de maruz kaldığı, işgallere karşı Fethiye Kuva-yı Milliye Teşkilatı’nın kuruluşu ve Fethiye’nin 21 Haziran 1920’de İtalyan işgalinden kurtuluşu ortaya konulmuştur.
