Abstract :Derin boyun enfeksiyonu (DBE) çoğunlukla medikal tedavi ile geçen, ancak cerrahi tedavi de gerektirebilen bir hastalıktır. Uygun şekilde tedavi edilmediği takdirde ciddi komplikasyonlarla seyredebilir. Streptococcus anginosus apseye yol açan önemli bir patojendir; ancak derin boyun apselerindeki rolü çok az araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, kliniğimizde Streptococcus anginosus etkenli DBE tanısı alan ve uygun tedavi sonrasında iyileşerek taburcu edilen bir hasta sunulmuştur.
