Abstract :Denizli Şeriyye Sicillerine kaydedilmiş ilginç bir terekedir. Bu tereke Sakızlı bir Rum kumaş tüccarına aittir. Tereke sahibinin adı Yorgi veled-i Minol`dür. Yorgi 1779 yılında Denizliye gelmiş ve Canıızoğlu hanında ölmüştür. Terekesinde Hollanda, İngiltere ve Fransa `dan gelen kumaş ve diğer tekstil ürünleri bulunmaktadır. Bu ilginç bir durumdur. Çünkü Denizli Anadolu `nun dokumacılık merkezidir.
