Abstract :Bugiinkü `Yakut` kelimesi Everik insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Mançu-Tunguz kavmi); dilinden gelmektedir. Evenkiler, Saha Türklerine `Eko` derlerdi, Ruslar~ Saha Türklerine ait ilk bilgileri onlardan almışlar ve `e` sesini `ya` sesine çevirip, `ut` son ekini ekleyip, Saha `Fürk1eriIieYakut diye ad . vermişlerdi. Ancak bu ad hiçbir zaman Saha Türkçesine yerleşmemiştir.
