Abstract :Yazar, eser boyunca Halit Beğ’den övgüyle söz eder ve onun unutulmaması ve dahi hatırlanması gereken tarihi bir şahsiyet olduğunu ifade eder. Bu sebeple bu eserin yazılma amacının, bir benlik inşası bağlamında tarihte önemli yer kapladığı düşünülen bir bireyin hatırlanması ve unutulmasının önüne geçilmesi olduğunu söylemek pek meşru olacaktır.
