Abstract :Abstract: Azerbaijan and Turkey are both Turkic countries, Oghuz speakers. However the bonds between two is way deeper than that. Those two countries share the same language, same geography and a common history at the same time. There has been lots of linguistic studies, which examined this bond and countless works have been published about this topic. However important topics such as strong Anatolian influence in historical and current Western zone of Azerbaijan and the migration waves through Azerbaijan to Anatolia, has been examined lesser than it shuld be. This article aims to use lexicology in accordance with historical and cultural data and bring a new perspective to studies on Turkish-Azerbaijani lingual connections.
