Abstract :This study was carried out in the Nebiyan Region, 19 Mayıs District of Samsun province (Türkiye). Some nut and kernel traits of two different altitudes (medium and high) and their difference according to four main directions in each altitude were examined in the \\\'Çakıldak\\\' hazelnut cultivar. According to the mean values in the direction and altitude combinations, the yield was between 108 kg/da and 233 kg/da, and the kernel percentage was 48.51% and 53.61%. The effects of different altitudes on nut weight, kernel weight, nut length, kernel length, pellicle removal ratio and whole pellicle removal ratio were significant. Generally, higher-quality nuts and kernels were obtained at the middle altitude. The effect of the direction was significant in terms of kernel percentage, kernel cavity size, nut length and kernel length. Generally, the lowest quality characteristics were found in the north direction. Direction X altitude interaction was effective only in yield and shell thickness. Keywords : Fındık, Corylus avellana L., ‘Çakıldak’, Yükselti, Yönler, İç Meyve
