Abstract :Bu araştırmanın amacı, İstanbul ili Beyoğlu ilçesinde hizmet veren Noa Gym sağlıklı yaşam merkezini tercih eden turistlerin rekreatif faaliyetlerden fayda beklentilerinin bazı demografik özellikler açısından incelenmesidir. Çalışmaya 01 Kasım – 30 Aralık 2018 tarihleri arasında Noa Gym sağlıklı yaşam merkezine gelen 107 turist gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Ho insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2008); tarafından geliştirilen Rekreasyon Fayda Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçek 25 ifadeden ve 3 alt boyuttan insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(fiziksel fayda, psikolojik fayda ve sosyal fayda); oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılara ölçeğin orijinal uyarlaması olan İngilizce form uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programında analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda; katılımcıların yaş, cinsiyet, ülke, meslek, eğitim seviyesi, Noa Gym’i tercih etme gibi gözlemlenen değişkenler ile rekreasyon fayda düzeyleri arasında anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmamıştır. Buna karşın; psikolojik alt boyut ile turistlerin İstanbul’a gelme nedenleri arasında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p:0,031);. Tespit edilen farkın hangi grupta yer aldığını bulmak üzere post hoc testlerinden Tamhane T2 uygulanmıştır. Turistik amaç ile iş amacı arasında insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p:0,023); anlamlı fark olduğu gözlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak turistlerin rekreatif faaliyetlerden fayda düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. İstanbul’a geliş amaçları dikkate alındığında ise, turistik amaçla seyahat edenlerin rekreasyondan fayda sağlama düzeyleri, iş ve diğer nedenlere oranla daha fazla olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. The aim of this study is to investigate the expectations from the recreational activities according to some demographic features of tourists who prefer Noa Gym which is located in Beyoğlu, İstanbul. Totaly 107 tourists who were visit the Noa Gym wellness center between 01 November -30 December 2018, participated in to the study as a voluntary. Recreation Benefit Scale is developed by Ho insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2008); which has been used as data collection tool. The scale consists 25 item and 3 sub-dimensions insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(physical benefit, psychological benefit and social benefit);. Participants answered the original English form. As analysis SPSS is used. As result of the analysis it is measured that no significant difference has been found between the observed variables such as age, gender, country, occupation, education level, reasons of the prefence of Noa Gym and recreation benefit levels. However; they was a significant difference between the psychological sub-dimension and the reasons of tourists coming to Istanbul insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p: 0,031);. Tamhane T2 was applied to the post hoc tests in order to find out which group was different. It was observed that there was a difference insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p:0,023); between the tourist purpose and the business purpose. As a result, it has been found that the tourists` benefit levels from recreational activities were high. Therefore, according to reason of tourists coming to Istanbul, it was concluded that those who travel for touristic purposes are highest level of benefit from recreation than work and other reasons.
