Abstract :Bu çalışma kapsamında, Behlül Tokur’a ait İmtihan Psikolojisi adlı kitabı incelenmiştir. İslam inancında geniş yer tutan imtihan kavramını iman temelinde inceleyen yazar, bu kavramı down sendromlu çocuğa sahip ailelerde zorlu bir deneyim olan engelli bebeğe sahip olma sürecindeki uyuma katkısı kapsamında değerlendirmektedir. Din psikolojisi literatürüne önemli bir kavram kazandıran kitap incelenerek okuyucuya bilgi verme amaçlanmıştır.
