Abstract :Sonradan kazanılmış maksiller defektler hastalarda estetik, fonksiyon ve konuşmada ciddi problemlere yol açmaktadır. Bu defektlerin rehabilitasyonunda cerrahi yaklaşım yapılamaz veya hasta istemezse , protetik tedavi bir seçenek olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Obturatörler bu defektlerin rehabilitasyonunda başarılı sonuçlar vermektedir.Bu olgu sunumunda diş çekimi sonrasında görülen osteomyelite bağlı maksiller defektin obturatörle rehabilitasyonunu anlatılmıştır.
