Abstract :Purpose: This study has been aimed to analyze bibliometric analysis of Türkiye-based studies in the field of physiotherapy. Methods: This study included publications published or accepted for publication in various international journals in Türkiye. Publications spanning from 1988 to 2024 were obtained from the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection. Bibliometric analysis was carried out using the \\\"RStudio/Biblioshiny\\\" and \\\"Vosviewer\\\" software tools. The advanced search feature of the WoS Core Collection was utilized, employing keywords are physical therapy, physiotherapy, physical rehabilitation, and manual therapy. Turkey and Türkiye were selected as the region/country filter. Only publications in English were considered for analysis. Results: The analysis revealed that a total of 5,511 publications were produced in the field of physiotherapy from Turkey between 1988 and 2024. It was found that Hacettepe University was the most affiliated institution with these publications, and the primary funding source was TÜBİTAK. A recent trend was observed towards research topics such as chemotherapy, muscle activation, COVID-19, quality of life, postural control, validity, and reliability. Additionally, when examining international collaborations, it was noted that Turkish researchers primarily collaborate with researchers from Europe and the Balkans. Moreover, the countries involved in collaborations have shifted in recent years. Conclusion: The analysis showed that the annual publication growth rate for physiotherapy-related publications centered in Turkey was 12.82%. Publications in the field of physiotherapy from Turkey have gained significant momentum over the past decade, particularly after 2016, showing a noticeable increase in recent years.
