Abstract :Istanbul Water Collection insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(İstanbul Su Külliyatı); which is essentially a collection of historic data on almost all affairs related to water in the city, is a transcribed facsimile of two different register series. The first one is the Mâ-i Lezîz Defterleri kept among the Eyüp Qadi Records as a separate series, and the other is the Vakıf Su Defterleri kept in the Ministery of Water insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Su Nezareti);. The Collection which is also available on the internet, gives the historians the opportunity to conduct research on water-related issues in Istanbul in a four-hundred-year span of time. These record series would be quite helpful in shedding light on an hitherto untouched aspect of the urban, municipal and administrative history of Istanbul.
