Abstract :Nanoteknoloji kendini temizleyen boyalar, kir tutmayan giysiler, kişiye zarar vermeden kanser hücrelerinin hasarlanması, tek bir bakterinin saptanması, bakterileri yok eden ve bu şekilde kokusuz kalan çoraplar, mikroplardan arındırılmış buzdolabı, dezenfektan vb. çok sayıda ve farklı yaşam alanlarında kullanılan yeni, devrimci bir teknolojidir. Bu yazıda günlük yaşamın her alanında karşımıza çıkan bu yeni teknolojinin olası sağlık riskleri halk sağlığı bakış açısı ile değerlendirilmiştir.
