Abstract :Abraham (pbuh), who is shown in an extremely superior position among the people who wholeheartedly believed in the creed of Tawhid in the Quran, is a leading figure for the Arab polytheists and the ancient followers of revelation, who lived in the vicinity at the time when the Quran was sent down and are defined by the Quran as People of the Book. He is presented as an exemplary personality. From the perspective of Arab polytheists, Hz. They claim that Abraham set an example and that they continued and adhered to Hanifism, the religion of Abraham. What they think they maintain is actually nothing more than their devotion to the ancestor cult. However, the Quran uses comparisons to reveal the mistake they fell into, by referring to the wrongness of the belief in polytheism, and emphasizing that when they truly knew their ancestor, Abraham, he had the belief in monotheism, which is the exact opposite of the belief in polytheism they are currently in. The aspect that gains importance in the eyes of the People of the Book is that Abraham was a completely different person than what they imagined in their minds, with their own warring religions and false obsessions. The Quran uses the concept of \\\'hanif\\\' while giving a completely different identity and definition to Abraham (as). With this concept, it is emphasized that he is a person with pure monotheism. While the Quran thus appeals to both communities, it actually shows that Muhammad (pbuh), who instilled a new religion in them, had a belief just like Abraham, and that he placed him in a respectable place, but did not criticize those who evaluated him from a wrong perspective, not as he should have. Hz. It aims to establish the idea and belief that Allah will only be pleased with this if they believe in the religion brought by Muhammad. Keywords : Tefsir, Tevhid, Şirk, İbrahim
