Abstract :Folk tales, one of the important elements of our cultural accumulation and experiences, are narratives with mixed verse and prose features told by minstrels. Folk tales, one of the important types of oral tradition that are based on narration in Turkish folk literature, mostly created and told by minstrels, are one of our important cultural heritages that mostly tell love, heroic adventures are kept alive by minstrels, who are representatives of oral tradition. Âşık Hosani wanted to both express his feelings concretely through the stories he included in his poems and to keep alive the folk tales and folk story telling tradition, which are the products of oral culture, with his poems. After all of Âşık Hosani\\\'s poems were examined in terms of folk tales, his poems containing folk tales were included. In this study, where the qualitative research method was used, the folk tales that are the subject of the study were determined by examining the minstrel\\\'s poems one by one. It has been seen that the âşık included the stories of Kerem and Aslı, âşık Garip, Tahir and Zühre, Hurşit and Mahımihri, Asuman and Zeycan and some religious-legendary stories in the approximately two hundred and fifty poems we examined. Keywords : Folk Stories, Cultural Heritage, Âşık Hosani, Minstrel Poetry Tradition
