Abstract :After the 2000s, the dynamic nature of technology encountered the social structure of man and took place in every field of life. One of these areas is education. The effectiveness of technology on education has over time transformed the use of technology in education into a necessity. As a result, each new day has given birth to a different computer and mobile supported application and they have started to be used in education. Augmented reality applications, a product of technology, have been in demand for the past decade because they have provided the basis for concrete, lasting and active learning in education. One of the main areas of skill where augmented reality can be used in native language education is writing. The aim of this study is to show that the augmented reality application called Quiver insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ColAR/Color Mix); can be used in descriptive writing studies and will contribute to descriptive writing skills. Document analysis was used to collect data in the study. The data obtained from the research were subjected to descriptive analysis under the identified themes. According to the results obtained from the visual and written documents of the study, assets were described according to the quantity and qualities they had. In addition, the impressions that beings evoke in individuals were reflected in documents. As a result, it can be said that the augmented reality application called Quiver can be used as an effective educational tool for descriptive writing.
