Abstract :This paper aims to analyze the lyrics of Gündoğdu Duran’s famous classical Turkish Music, “Ne Çıkar Bahtımıza, Ayrılık Varsa Yarın” on different levels of stylistic analysis. The choices of expression in a literary work determines its style, distinctiveness and expressive value. The poem is analysed using the tools of linguistics with a view to have a better understanding of its meaning. This analysis reveals how meaning is related to linguistic elements in this poem and how its style contributes to the feelings and thoughts it evokes in the reader. With the aim of developing literal interpretation of the text, different stylistic devices of assonance, figurative language, rhyme scheme and rhythm were scrutinized.
