Abstract :The Mongolian loan words in Chuvash, investigated by A. Rona-Tas entered Chuvash through the medium of a neighboring Turkic language, such as Tatar, Bashkir, etc. All of the words in question occur also in Turkic and appear in their Turkic forms and with Turkic semantics in Chuvash.
