Abstract :Trifles, written by American female writer Susan Glaspell, represents a police drama genre. In this short but concrete drama, it is possible to make conclusions about the lives and roles of women in the United States in the early twentieth century. The author, out of Minnie Foster character is putting women’s feelings and thoughts in the background in the resolution of a murder. Through the character of Minnie Foster, Glaspell subtly foregrounds women\\\'s emotions and thoughts, positioning them as pivotal elements in resolving a murder, while simultaneously critiquing the dismissive attitudes towards women\\\'s perspectives prevalent in the societal and cultural structures of the time. In the play, which approaches the social and cultural structure of women as individuals with a critical look at which their feelings are neglected, women’s feelings and thoughts are reflected in the success of resolving murder by action, while men’s failures are ironicly reflected by inserting in unnecessary details. This article discusses in what aspects the emotions and thoughts that develop in the dialogues of the play “Trifles” is a feminist drama.Keywords : kadınların duyguları, drama, Trifles, feminizm
