Abstract :In this study, the role of the European Union insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(EU); in the Middle East Peace Process insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MEPP); is examined in the Hght of the EU policies tovvards Israel. in the last decade, European integration has almost completed its economic and monetary union and now the integration has evolved its political dimension. The EU has sought to gain political weight that is convenient to its economic power in internatfonal reiations.in this context, the EU has participated to the MEPP through the instruments of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership and its Common Foreign and Security Policy. The EU has been interested in lasting peace and stability in the Middle East. Therefore, the EU has called for Israel to withdraw its troops from the occupied territories and recognize a State of Palestine.
